Responsible Gaming

Playing with us can be enjoyable for entertaining yourself, and you might even win some money. However, it's important to remember that winning only happens sometimes, and losing is a significant part of gambling. Each time you play, you must be prepared for loss.

Therefore, it's crucial to play responsibly. Never risk money that you cannot afford to lose, and be mindful of how much time you spend gambling. We want your gaming experiences to be positive and fun, regardless of whether you win. Knowing when to stop is one of the most important aspects of responsible gambling.

To support sustainable play, we offer a variety of limits that are always available to use. And we provide regular feedback about your gambling habits through account messages and Responsible Gaming emails. We support you to keep track of your play and stay in control of your gambling.

18+

It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to open an account and/or to gamble at Budsino. We reserve the right to request proof of identity from any customer and may suspend an account until adequate age verification has been conducted. Please note that local legislation might differ from the general rules that apply at Budsino.  If you are unsure if you are allowed, or at a legal age, to play, please contact your national government websites, regulatory authorities or consult your local solicitor.

WHAT IS RESPONSIBLE GAMING?

Responsible Gaming is a set of practices to create a safe environment for players and reduce the negative impact of gambling on individuals and society. Some key aspects are:

  • Promoting awareness of the potential risks and consequences associated with gambling.
  • The encouragement to set limits on gambling activities.
  • The options to voluntary exclude from gambling activities for specific periods or indefinite time.
  • Offering access to support resources, such as helplines counselling services, or support groups for individuals who may struggle with gambling addiction.
  • Continuously monitoring gambling behaviour of players and conducting research to gain understanding of gambling patterns to improve responsible gaming policies.

Are you concerned about a potential gambling problem?
Take the ten-question self-assessment:

  1. Have you been preoccupied with thoughts of gambling while doing other things that require your attention?
  2. Have you been restless or irritable when unable to gamble?
  3. Have you hidden your gambling from family members?
  4. Has gambling created conflict and unhappiness in your life?
  5. Have you tried to stop gambling but have not been able to?
  6. Have you gambled to obtain money to pay debts or solve other financial problems?
  7. Have you needed someone else to bail you out of a gambling debt?
  8. Have you ever borrowed money and not paid it back because of your gambling?
  9. Have you been unable to pay bills due to gambling losses?
  10. Have you ever thought you might have a gambling problem?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the questions, you may be at risk for developing a gambling problem. The more questions answered ‘yes,’ the greater the likelihood you may have a gambling problem.

Here are some tips for playing responsibly:

  • Set a personal budget and stick to it.
  • Establishing a limit helps you stay within your means.
  • Play for enjoyment, not as a way to make money.
  • Only gamble when sober and in a clear state of mind.
  • Take regular breaks while playing.
  • Avoid the common mistake of trying to win back your losses.

We offer a number of limits to help you plan and support healthy gambling.

Deposit limit
Deposit limits allow you to specify the maximum total amount of money you can deposit into your account within a set period – a rolling 24 hour, weekly or monthly period. When the maximum set amount is reached, you will not be able to continue to play unless the set period has expired. This limit is very useful to keep track of the money you are able to deposit on your account.

Loss limit
A loss limit is a dynamic cap on your losses over a rolling 24-hour, weekly, or monthly period. Winnings are added to your remaining limit, while losses are deducted in the period they settle. Once you reach the maximum loss, you cannot continue playing until the period ends. This limit helps you maintain a balanced approach to your gambling by managing your deposits, stakes, and withdrawals, ensuring you don’t exceed your set loss amount.

Session limit
Session limits restrict how much time you can gamble in one session. You can choose a duration of one, two, six, or twelve hours and set these limits on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once the time is up, you will be automatically logged out. After the limit expires, you can continue playing, helping to prevent excessive gambling.

Bet limit
Bet limits set a maximum and minimum amount for your wagers when playing a game. Start by determining how much you want to bet at most and select a period for this limit—daily, weekly, or monthly. Once you've established your bet limit, you can only wager within the cap you've set. If you reach your maximum amount, you cannot continue playing until the chosen time has expired. Bet limits help you maintain a comfortable level of betting that works for you.

The Reality Check
The reality check tool is a helpful reminder, not a restriction. It shows you how long you've been playing and summarizes your time and money spent. You can set it to notify you every 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, with a default activation every 60 minutes. When triggered, it pauses your game until you continue or log out. This feature lets you decide whether to keep playing or log out without feeling pressured.

Self-Exclusion
The self-exclusion is an account lock setting for a certain period. Once this is activated you will not be able to play on your account. You will still be able to withdraw your account balance without the ability to play.  The time periods that we offer are 24-hours, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or for an indefinite period. We will also take all reasonable steps to ensure you do not receive any promotional material during this time. We also recommend that you self-exclude with any other operator you may be registered with. A handy website that can assist you to self-exclude with the operators you have an account with is Self-exclusion initiative.
